I had a great experience replacing the carpet in my new condo with Flooring Expo. They were by far the most affordable option on the market, had an excellent selection of carpet options(the other flooring options looked equally robust but I was only doing carpets), and the people were phenomenal.I worked with Steve from the Maplewood location and he was great the entire way through. He asked me about my vision for the space and what it was currently like. He made good recommendations based off of my initial ideas, and as I narrowed down my choice he continued to provide great advise. I felt like I was being an annoying customer with how many samples I wanted to see, but Steve had nothing but patience and a smile for me when I came through the door.After I made my decision he made everything very simple. He walked me through all the paperwork, ordered my carpet, scheduled my install, and stayed in touch with me so I knew as each step was completed.I was given a window of time that the installers would arrive and they were squarely within. They were polite knowledge folks that walked me through the install plan and answered my questions, and then got to work. I spoke with Wilson primarily and he was great too. Gave me an estimate of how long the work would take and called me 30 minutes early to let me know it was done.The actual install and product are perfect! There are no detectable seams in the carpet, tight install, and cleaned up by the time I arrived. The carpet looks even better than I thought it would and it gives the exact foot-feel I was hoping for.I have to rate my experience as 5/5, it was simply too good to even try to justify anything less. If I ever need a flooring project done again Steve at Flooring Expo is the first person I am talking to.

I’ve been using Flooring Expo for years, and they consistently do an exceptional job. Their service is top-notch, and I highly recommend checking them out if you’re looking for quality flooring! This is my 1870 rental unit.

Avoid them at all costs. We hired Carpet Expo to install baseboards in a ~120 sqft room. Three tries, still not done:Attempt 1: Wrong color baseboards delivered, then they ripped out a piece of our original trim to “match it” and never bothered installing it back. It’s just gone.Attempt 2: Their installer came again, still the wrong color (brown instead of golden oak) - and started cutting the wrong material in our garage anyway. Even after all that, the pieces weren’t long enough to finish the room.Attempt 3: They just didn’t show up. No call, no explanation. Ghosted us completely. When my husband called their office they were surprised and had “no idea how it could happen”To make it worse, we’re a family of first responders working rotating shifts, so coordinating time off to be home for these appointments is genuinely difficult. Every failed or missed visit isn’t just an inconvenience; it costs us hours of scheduling around already unpredictable work hours that we could spend with our family.We’re now trying to get a refund and all we get is “tomorrow we’ll figure it out,” over and over, with no actual resolution in sight. A disaster, do not do business with them.

Over the past 23 years we've had two great experiences with Carpet King for carpeting and wood flooring, and now in 2026 our third time with then was awesome. Marti Runeborg was joy to work with -- she communicates very well, is great at explaining choices, and did a great job of helping us figure out, from a vast number of possibilities, the carpet options that would work well for our large living room -- and she was patient with all of our questions! I have allergy issues so I was very impressed that they offered to air out the carpeting over a weekend in their warehouse before installation, definitely helped. The installers were amazing, worked so hard and so efficiently so everything looks and feels great. We love our new carpet and have had compliments from visitors. Once again, Flooring Expo and Marti provided excellent service. We had installers arriving on Monday and, due to international travel, we weren’t available to select & purchase the flooring until Sunday. Marti helped us select flooring that was both in stock & matched well within our color scheme. She ensured that it would be available at the warehouse for pickup first thing Monday morning and connected us with someone to deliver it directly to our condo. Marti is very attentive, customer oriented and great at helping with color/pattern selection. I highly recommend Flooring Expo in Blaine for your flooring needs.

Affordable, extremely quick and professional.

Flooring Expo ruined my kitchen floor. To start they measured wrong and had to reorder the material. Installers did not under- cut the door trim for a nice neat job.Instead they tried to free-hand and cut around the trim. Results were a disaster. Photos will show this.They did not use enough floor leveling product to level out the existing embossed floor. There are ripples that show over the entire floor. The photos do not clearly show this.They had to come back to roll out the floor because of air pockets. One of the photos shows a cut mark and where I tried to fill in the void with caulk. They were in over their heads with this job. There profit my loss.

Just got new carpeting. Fantastic service from the time we walked in to Carpet King through to installation. Jim's the best. Can't say enough. Friendly, professional, thorough at a fair price. Installation was done in 7 hours. Great crew!

Installers were clean, efficient and hardworkers. They completed my whole house from 10am and 8pm!

Initial part of project went well with selecting items and getting rooms measured. They do not tell you when the installers will be there until the day of. We got a call at 7am that they would be at the house in 30 mins, even though I had requested 45 mins of heads up time so someone else could be there with the short notice on scheduling as I work a full time job and could not be available all day. They did not give us a heads up they were coming or call the person I asked them to as they previously said they would. Additionally, during the installation they broke a small hole through the drywall. That would not have been a big deal except instead of telling us it happened, they tried to use paint from a paint can I'd stored in the room to paint over it instead of telling us. It was not the paint color of the room, which made the hole and the fact that they tried to cover it much more obvious. All of those factors overshadowed the ease at the beginning.

I had a relatively large job. I carpeted the upstairs and downstairs of my house. The team showed up on time and we were able to get it done within eight hours. Flooring Expo was able to coordinate an excellent job. I’m very satisfied.

We chose Flooring Expo for both our new carpet and new luxury vinyl flooring. Both services were great. We were able to get our carpet and flooring materials pretty quickly after ordering. The installers were available in the time frame we needed. Everyone that came to the house were professional and worked diligently. Communication with both the sales staff and installers was great! I highly recommend the Karndean flooring that looks like limestone - turned out to be beautiful! I was not sure I was going to love my choice of replacing tile with vinyl, but I was very much pleased and saved a lot of money doing so!

Very mixed feelings ..... The purchase experience was great. Alex in the Roseville store was awesome and took great care of us so we did the purchase ... from there things went a bit south.Come install day, no contact from the installers so I called the Roseville store. Alex had the day off and the guy I spoke with basically told me the installers would call before they came and we were probably later in the day. I guess he was too busy to check the scheduling system.At 3:30 I called the main store and spoke with Marti (the manager).The carpet that was supposed to be in the warehouse was not available. If fact they also forgot to call us to get us know they weren't coming and had to order more carpet from the mill. Now a 2+ week delay.Of course we emptied out both bedrooms so we had to sleep in the basement spare bedroom.Marti said she would make it right and offered to have the installers move all the furniture back into the bedrooms free of charge and also offered to have the leftover piece bound so we would use it as a runner for the hallway. Unfortunately the remaining pieces were too small for a runner ..... bummer.Install day .... a very nice couple (my assumption) worked really hard and did a great job on the install. Of course the furniture move wasn't on their work order so I called Marti's cell and the store .... no answer on either phone and left a message on both. No return call.My wife and I then had to move all the furniture back to the bedrooms.

Beautiful flooring. Great quality product. Priced right. I ripped up my own carpeting and moved my furniture to save on cost. Floor layer did nice work. He forgot a stripfor the floor. He came back next day and completed job. I would use them again.
